ABOUT US
Empowering The Feminine Within
The Woron Sisters
“Our aim is to create the underwear, that will be the first thing you put on and the last thing you want to take off!”
Woron is a Copenhagen based collaboration between two sisters - Arina and Anya Woron. They have a passion for life in the slow lane and both share an enthusiasm for sustainable underwear & everyday essentials.
Their products are represented all over the world in selected stores, that share their desire to make woman’s femininity flourish along with a love for our Earth.
Making the comfiest underwear
The fashion industry has a bad rap these days. Most fashion products aren’t made in a way that’s any good for you nor Earth. We’re here to change that.
Our purpose is to empower the feminine within you. What does this mean you may ask?
Well, we are an avid proponent for women’s well-being and health. We want to take it back a notch, slow down a bit and ask: are we feeling comfortable in our own skin? do we feel sexy? Are we showing up with confidence in our daily lives?
We believe that most things can be fixed with a good attitude and some comfy clothes that don’t compromise style and sexiness.
When the underpants aren’t riding up and the bra isn’t chafing or trying to suffocate you, when one’s body just finally says “aaaah, I’m good right now”, then it’s as if magic happens. One’s well-being soars and with it confidence and feeling good emerges all by itself, naturally.
Our aim is to create the underwear, that will be the first thing you put on and the last thing you want to take off!
No Junk
No toxic chemicals. No toxic dyes. No chafing. No metal pokes.
No style? No Way!
The comfy underwear you love without the junk you don’t.
All fabrics and trimmings are certified and produced within Europe.
All dyes used in the making of our products are certified, are non toxic and allergy friendly.
Plant Based & Cruelty Free
We women can feel sexy anytime anywhere regardless of what we put on our body, but we believe that a little stylish comfort helps us get going much faster.
Our luxurious selection is made with a soft blend of plant based goodness: natural breathable materials made especially for women’s comfort…now neither your body nor your conscience has to suffer.
"Not everyone sees your bra, but everyone sees how it makes you feel".

Fibers & Fabrics
Certified Organic Cotton
We only use GOTS certified fibers, handling methods and factories, when working with Organic cotton.
The cotton is grown in accordance with organic agriculture methods, without the use of harmful defoliants. It is produced with methods that respect the well-being of mankind and environment.
The cotton is free from toxic dyes & fabric treatments including formaldehyde, heavy metals & aromatic solvents.
Beech Wood
One of the most environmentally sustainable options available.
The Base Collection is sewn from this luxury fiber called Lenzing Modal, It is a fine, smooth fiber made from beech wood.
It is created by turning the wood into pulp, extracting the fiber and then reconstituting the fiber so that it can be spun into fabric. It is sourced from sustainable forestry plantations growing native trees and the fibres are produced in a CO2 neutral way.
It is a fabric that is irritation free and naturally prevents the growth of bacteria.
Regenerated Fibres
When we work with synthetic fibres for our lace, mesh and lace detailing, it is always made from regenerated fibres.
We use Econyl fibers- regenerated nylon.
It is made entirely from ocean and landfill waste, such as industrial plastic, fabric scraps from clothing manufacturing companies, old carpets and "ghost nets".
It is free from harmful chemicals. It is smooth to the touch & combines well with our plant based fibres.
Factories
“At the core of everything we do at Woron is a strong respect for the people we work with and the environment we work within. We are well aware of the reputation of the fashion industry and strive to promote positive change.”
We produce our line within Europe.
In Hungary, Italy, Greece & Turkey, at certified factories- read all about it below.
Hungary
We mainly work with a family owned factory in Hungary.
The factory is GOTS certified and OEKOTEX certified amongst other standard certifications like the ISO 9001: 2015.
Hungary has working regulations both in terms of minimum wages and working standards. Along with this, the owners have made strict rules when it comes to working hours. Nobody can be forced to work additional hours even in really busy periods. The workers can instead sign up/ voluntarily for additional shifts where they get a higher hourly salary etc.
The factory offers their workers higher wages than the standard minimum wage (10-20% higher depending on the position, demand etc.).
Furthermore, the factory is pretty much only run by women, employing mainly women, plus they offer some additional benefits for working mothers, to ensure a good and healthy family life in each of the workers households (such as shift ending already before the kids get home from school, transportation to and from the factory to their villages, additional courses/ education if they want to 'climb the ladder' etc.).
We have worked closely with this factory since the very beginning of Woron. It is located in the small town Halaszi, Hungary.
Greece
Our new partner in Greece, is leading the way when it comes to lace underwear.
They are OEKOTEX certified for both their yarns and production.
They are OCS certified for their garments & GOTS certified for their yarns.
Amongst other certifications they also hold the: ISO 9002
They produce their own cotton yarns and knit their own fabrics, keeping each
step as close to ‘home’ as possible.
The factory is situated in Komotini, Rodopis, Greece.
Italy
Our luxurious range of socks is made in the heart of Italy.
The factory that we work with is a small family owned business that keeps it simple by only focusing on socks. They have had the factory for generations.
On top of this, they only work with certified and high quality fibers (we work with GOTS certified cotton with them that is also a part of the 'Cotton for Life Initiative), so it was a match made in heaven for our eco-beating hearts.
They are situated in Botticino, Italy.
Turkey
Our Turkish partners are running a clean green machine.
IAll through GOTS certification (both the factory and the materials they work with) and
with high standards both when it comes to environment and people. It is not only
an organic product chain authentication but also social standards and fair trade
production that is inspected in every audit at this great factory. This is to ensure
the highest standards possible for both environment as well as workers.
We produce the Organic Cotton underwear line with them.
They are situated in Izmir, Turkey.
